This page explains what data we collect when you apply for a job on the Hire Ready website, why we collect it, who can see it, and how to ask us to delete it.
The data we collect
- Your full name, phone number, email address if you give one, governorate and years of experience.
- Your CV (a PDF, Word or image file), or the summary you write about your experience.
- The job you applied for and the date you applied.
- An encrypted code derived from your device's internet address (IP), to stop fake applications (at most 5 an hour from the same device). We do not keep the address itself, and it cannot be recovered from this code.
Why we collect it
- To review your application and assess how well it fits the job.
- To contact you about this job, or about other jobs that suit you.
Who can see it
- Your application reaches the Hire Ready team first and only; CVs are kept in private storage that only our team can access.
- If you are shortlisted, we share your application with the hiring company.
- We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Asking us to delete your data
- You can ask us to delete your application and CV at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp or by email, with your name and the phone number you applied with.
